We understand the importance of delineating land ownership boundaries correctly and the issues involved around interpretation of old historical maps against current mapping and the general boundaries rule. Large format scanning up to A0 is available. Scanned documents can be digitised into a number of formats or imported into our GIS system for mapping.

Where there is a boundary dispute, such as an encroachment or a need for Land Registry compliant plans, our surveyors undertake a review of historical mapping, aerial photography, land registration plans, site surveys and enquiries. We superimpose the layers of information to generate the output explaining the results and, in consultation with Land Registry, we provide the maps and recommendations. Read More>

With over 50,000 site visits and counting, our experienced surveyors conduct interviews and land surveys with potentially affected persons. We review ownership boundaries, land use and identification of third party rights and easements over the affected land. We also affix and maintain site notices and review the accuracy of topographical mapping. Data is recorded via our LRSystem® on handheld mobile devices with tagged photos.
